IRIS RAY
Executive Director
Iris is originally from Atlanta, but has called Cleveland home for over 30 years. She has a Bachelor’s in Business from Lee University and a Masters of Practical Ministry from The Pentecostal Theological Seminary. Iris has a heart for bringing transformation to people and communities. She has worked as the regional coordinator for Cry Out America for over 10 years and is currently a decorator for Legacy Senior Services. She is married to Barry, has 3 children and 3 grandchildren.
BROOKE SCHELICH
Program Coordinator
Brooke is a Cleveland native who is passionate about bringing change to her community. She has a Bachelors of Science in Human Development from Lee University and a Masters of Social Work from Southern Adventist University. She has worked for 7+ years in the non-profit sector and her desire is to serve and love others. Brooke is married to Chris and has a 4 year old daughter, Sophia. In her free, she likes to read, cook and travel.
Danielle “Dani” Hottle

Dani is excited to be a part of the Serve 1st team and brings nearly 20 years of experience working in nonprofits, primarily focusing on human services programs. Residing in Central Virginia with her husband and their two sons, Dani is committed to helping the most vulnerable within her community by volunteering with organizations who provide emergency assistance to those facing hunger, homelessness, or loss of basic utilities. Having graduated from both the University of Wisconsin – Oshkosh and Johns Hopkins University, Dani has a background in education and economics. Although her boys keep her very busy, when she has free time Dani enjoys spending time in her flower garden and running. She’s completed two full marathons, more than a dozen half-marathons, and countless short distance races.
Sara Evans

Sara grew up in Spartanburg, SC and graduated from Presbyterian College. She received her Master's Degree in Social Work from the University of Georgia and has spent her career in nonprofit management. Sara has been Executive Director of two organizations, is a certified mediator, and has written grants for organizations throughout the Southeast. Sara's favorite thing about working with nonprofit organizations is getting to see the endless generosity of donors and volunteers with their time and resources. Sara lives in Marietta, GA with her husband, two daughters, and rescued coonhound. She loves to run, read, and hike.
