Barry Ray
Barry has served in key leadership roles in the senior housing and long-tern care fields for over two decades.
Initially with Life Care Centers of America, he served in various capacities, including Director of Facility Accounting, Director of Asset Management, Vice President of Assisted Living Development and Vice President of Finance. During the last 3 years of his tenure at Life Care, Barry served as President of American Lifestyles, Inc. Life Care’s assisted living subsidiary, where he oversaw the development, operations and marketing of 40 retirement facilities in 28 states.
In 2002, Barry founded Vision Senior Care Partners to operate and develop retirement facilities and consult on senior housing and health care, including and additional focus on church and para-ministry organizations desiring to enter the senior housing industry. In 2006, he and Bryan Cook formed Legacy Senior Living to manage related and third-party retirement facilities. Under Barry’s leadership, Legacy Senior Living now manages multiple retirement communities across the southeast United States.
Barry is a graduate of Lee University in Cleveland, TN, a member of Westmore Church of God and a member of several nonprofit boards. He and his wife Iris, have three children.
Jeff Shelton
Jeff is a partner and trusted financial advisor with Capital Square, LLC., based out of Chattanooga, TN. He is also an owner of Executive Oaks Partners, LLC, a commercial real estate development group that builds, owns, and leases office spaces in the greater Chattanooga area.
Jeff is a Cleveland, TN resident where he and his wife Richelle Shelton raised their two boys. Their oldest, Guy, is a digital media teacher in Knoxville, TN, and their youngest, Cole, is currently studying at Lee University. Richelle is the principal of George R. Stuart Elementary School, and they are members of Westmore Church of God.
Iris ray
is originally from Atlanta, but has called Cleveland home for over 30 years. She has a Bachelor’s in Business from Lee University and a Masters of Missiology from The Pentecostal Theological Seminary. Iris has a heart for bringing transformation to people and communities. She has worked as the regional coordinator for Cry Out America for over 10 years and is currently a decorator for Legacy Senior Services. Over the years, she has served on multiple non-profit boards. She is married to Barry, has 3 children and 3 grandchildren.
Suzanne is Founder and Executive Director of Foundation House Ministries, a faith-based maternity home and training program for pregnant and parenting women in critical situations. They have recently opened a job-training program, called Healing Springs Gifts, (healingspringsgifts.com). This program provides hands-on job experience through the production and sale of natural skin care products.
Suzanne has a Master of Science in Marriage and Family Studies from Lee University, Cleveland, TN and is a Certified Family Trauma Professional. She is a member of the International Association of Trauma Professionals and the American Academy of Experts in Traumatic Stress. She serves as a member of the Leadership Council of the National Maternity Housing Coalition and the Executive Council for the Tennessee Commission on Children and Youth.
Suzanne regularly speaks regionally and nationally on the multi-faceted topics of chronic trauma, chronic poverty, addiction and the women that Foundation House serves. She provides executive coaching and training on these and other topics through her speaker’s website, at becharitywise.com
Suzanne and her husband, Tim, reside in Cleveland, TN, with their younger son, Ethan. Their older son, Suzanne’s own crisis pregnancy, is a US Marine, serving stateside with his wife.
Kay has served in a variety of ministry roles including Executive Director of New Hope Pregnancy Care Center, Associate and Interim Pastor of Peerless Road Church, Administrator for Voice of Salvation Ministries, and Christian Education Minister providing insight segments for the World Impact television program.
She was blessed to serve as ministry projects coordinator for the Center for Spiritual Renewal, the spearhead organization for the 2006 Azusa Street Centennial. Currently, Kay is Executive Director for the Awakening America Alliance and The Helper Connection, ministries that train, resource, and encourage men and women ministers throughout the kingdom of God.
She has authored The Christmas Dance and Today’s Church and is a contributing author in Praying with Jesus, Cry Out to the Lord, 31 Days of Prayer for My Nation, Cherished Moments, and More Cherished Moments. Her articles have been published in SpiritLed Woman, Charisma News Daily, Prayer Connect Magazine, White Wing Messenger, and several national ministry blogs. Kay serves as secretary for the board of directors of The Table Coalition/U.S. Lausanne Committee, is engaged with the National Prayer Committee, Jesus Covenant Prayer Partners, and other national prayer ministries. She is founder and chairperson of the Women in Ministry Commission with the Pentecostal Charismatic Churches of North America.
She completed her BS in Christian Ministries/Bible at Lee University and enjoys ministering in ecumenical leadership summits and regional ladies’ conferences both nationally and abroad. Kay is married to Perry Horner, a retired graphic designer for their denomination’s international offices. He is currently a funeral assistant serving families during their time of bereavement and enjoys providing practical assistance and home repairs for retired ministers and widows. Their daughter Emily, her husband Kirk, and granddaughter Lillian reside in Cleveland, Tennessee. Their son Ben lives nearby in Chattanooga.
